Beginning is the hardest part??

I've been meaning to start a personal blog for quite a while...  There's always so many other things to do, and I always let myself get too mired in the details so I never actually get anything published.  Well here, this is getting published!  :-)

Hopefully with this start it makes the next steps easier.
